2015 IMSA Prototypes Lites in Sebring
Last week I drove the inaugural race in the new IMSA Prototype Lites class in Sebring. This is probably one of my most favorite tracks in North America, very demanding, technical and did I mention bumpy? The Lites drove as part of the support series of the TUDOR Sebring 12hrs Championship. So, we had almost 100,000 spectators and a great atmosphere. The first race was very demanding since I still have to get used to the new car and the new competition. In the second race I was able to get much better into the zone and worked my way forward until I had to avoid a car that went sideways in front of me. I lost 6 positions and since it was towards the end of the race I could only regain one of them. I am super excited to go to NOLA in 3 weeks and hopefully thing will go a bit better then.
