FIA Race at the Hungaroring in Hungary
Last weekend I had the opportunity to drive the legendary F1 track, Hungaroring, in Hungary. I had the opportunity to get back to my roots and drove a Factory Radical SR3 and the track didn’t disappoint. Very technical in its’ nature, constantly navigating the course with very little pause. I really wonder how F1 drivers can race for almost two hours such a narrow track. Anyway, qualifying was in the wet which also gave me some wet weather condition experience on the track. The race itself was very clean and I managed to secure a 2nd place in the Fangio class, Admittingly, a bit surprised and lucky but hey, I’ll take the trophy any day. Hey, I even managed to clock a 1:49.3 lap time in one of the last laps of a 60min race in a SR3. What a great experience this was!
