US Prototype Series in Sebring

Last weekend we had a “one-off” race in the US Prototype Series in Sebring. It was interesting to see a variety of prototypes competing in the same class. We had IMSA Lites Prototypes, Praga’s, Wolf’s, Radical’s and a few more exotic prototypes on the grid.
I managed to get the car on the pole ahead of the very fast Lites prototypes for Saturday (it was a surprise to me). Unfortunately, I ran out of gas 2 laps before the end in the race. The race was actually rather challenging with a mix of dry and semi damp conditions. So, a disappointing DNF.

Sunday started under damp conditions again but it dried up after just a few laps. Managed to finish the race in second place. One IMSA Lites car was just a bit too fast on this day.

On the photo, Colin Braun, my coach. I couldn’t have done all of this without his support. Thanks buddy!
